At Sepor, we believe that conducting business in a sustainable way is fundamental to generating value for both our company and our society. For this reason, we have embarked on a journey to integrate Sustainability into all aspects of our business.
This journey manifests itself through the periodic publication of reports that account for our environmental, social, and governance performance and progress.
In 2023, we proudly present our first Sustainability Report. This report gives a comprehensive overview of our responsible operations, highlighting the efforts made to achieve the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals for the 2030 Agenda. The report outlines the results achieved in environmental, social, and governance areas, a result of ongoing dialogue with our stakeholders. The document has undergone third-party verification by the independent SGS Italy.
In 2022 we published our first report dedicated to our 2021 carbon footprint. This document presents an analysis of our direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions, allowing us to quantify our environmental impact. The carbon footprint serves as an important starting point for defining reduction strategies and targets.
Sustainable Development Goals
Over the years, we have supported multiple projects and charity initiatives with the scope of supporting our Community.
In the three-year period 2020-2022, the donations made totaled approximately 280,000 euros.
We strongly believe in the values of sport and inclusion in all its forms, aware of the educational and social role of associative realities. For this reason, over the years our company has supported various sports associations in the area, with particular attention to youth soccer. In recent years we have also extended our contribution to tennis and boxing.
Cultural and social activities
We support cultural initiatives and associations operating in the social sphere. From 2020 to 2022, we gave its support to local associations managing transport of disables and provided contributions for cultural initiatives such as the “Premio Montale fuori casa” and the “Premio Lerici Pea“.
